The start of the new year was an emotional one at South Highlands Elementary Magnet School. That is where 4th grader Shelby Patrick attends school.

You may recall, Shelby  was the little girl doctors didn't expect to recover, after she was found at the bottom of a pool at a friend's birthday party.

As KTBS 3'S Eric James saw today, not only is Shelby o.k., she maybe more energetic now than before the accident.
