A man wanted in connection with a shooting inside of a local nightclub is now in police custody after surrendering to authorities this evening.
On December 12, 2012, at approximately 10:00 p.m., 19 year old Bryan Stewart, accompanied with legal counsel, arrived at the Shreveport Police Department to turn himself in to authorities on an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit procured a warrant for Stewart's arrest back on December 11, 2012, after he was developed as a suspect in the December 8, 2012 shooting inside of Koko Pellis nightclub that left 27 year old Jawilli Rayon of Shreveport recovering from what was described as a potentially non life-threatening gunshot wound to the neck.
Stewart was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on the arrest warrant charging him with one count of attempted second degree murder. Stewart's bond amount is set at $250,000.00.
