Shooting victim drives himself to safety

A man who'd been shot got in a car and drove himself to help today.

Shreveport police said the man, who was shot in the 400 block of West 69th Street this morning, drove himself to a house at St. Vincent Avenue and 68th Street.

The man was bleeding profusely, police said, and the people in the house put him in a car and drove him to LSU Hospital.

No arrests have been made. Police said they don't know what led to the shooting.
