A Shreveport police officer is in hot water for parking illegally in front of a wheelchair ramp. A picture of a Shreveport Police Cruiser clearly blocking the entrance to a handicap ramp was email to the KTBS studios earlier this week. Sergeant Bill Goodin with the department says an internal investigation proved he was in violation of the department's off-duty policy. Sergeant Goodin says because of this action the officer has lost the use of his take home unit. Local residents Donna Sparks and her daughter Amanda, who is in a wheelchair, say everyone should be accountable for their actions. "If you're gonna ticket me then yes, you need to be ticketed," said Donna Sparks. "As a law enforcement officer it's clear the oath that we take we're to keep our personal lives unusullied as well so that's part, that's part of the deal of being a police officer," said Sgt. Goodin. Goodin says according to the Police Chief Willie Shaw each employee of the department, on or off-duty will be held to the highest standards.
