Shreveport man accused of impersonating federal marshal
Authorities say a 20-year-old Shreveport man who had been reported to be loitering on East Texas Ave. in Alexandria claimed to be a federal marshal working undercover, but was not.
The Town Talk reports Quatavrius Thomas was arrested by Alexandria police on Tuesday and booked with false impersonation of a police officer, criminal trespassing and resisting an officer.
Police say Thomas refused to produce any identification, so officers checked with the U.S. Marshal Service and discovered Thomas was not a marshal.
Thomas was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
It was unclear whether Thomas has an attorney.
