Authorities have obtained an arrest warrant for a local man accused of shooting a victim at an intersection in west Shreveport late last week.
Police detectives have obtained an arrest warrant charging Robert “Raphael” Clark, 24, of Shreveport, with one count of attempted second degree murder in connection with the shooting of Kortez Hobley, 20, back on September 14, 2012 after the men had apparently been involved in some sort of altercation outside of a convenience store near the intersection of Linwood Avenue and West 70th Street. Police say Hobley left the scene in a vehicle and Clark allegedly followed in another car, pulling up beside of the victim and firing multiple shots at him, striking him in the leg.
Hobley was taken to LSUHSC where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Upon further investigation, detectives arrested Kijafa Edwards, 20, of Shreveport, for one count of principal to attempted second degree murder.
Investigators believe Edwards was driving the car that Clark was riding in at the time he shot Hobley.
Clark’s bond has been set at $500,000. Police believe Clark is armed and dangerous and are asking anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Robert “Raphael” Clark to contact Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or www.lockemup.org.
