A Pea Ridge man has been sentenced to 30 years is prison after pleading guilty to first-degree murder.
The Benton Count Daily Record reports that 28-year-old Darin Michael Etherton was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty in the 2011 shooting death of 25-year-old Brent Test.
Etherton entered the plea in Benton County Circuit Court in Bentonville as part of an agreement with prosecutors in which the charge was reduced from capital murder.
Etherton will now be eligible for parole in 21 years
