A driver who apparently fell asleep while waiting at a traffic light was jailed on multiple charges after Terrebonne Parish sheriff's deputies awakened him.

  Kneeko J. Domangue, 22, of Houma was asleep in his truck on the Funderburk Bridge when deputies arrived about 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The bridge crosses Bayou Terrebonne in the Broadmoor neighborhood.

   Deputies said they knocked on the truck window several times to rouse Domangue. Investigators said that after Domangue awoke, they found synthetic marijuana in the truck.

   Domangue was booked with obstructing a public passage, driving under suspension, possession of a schedule 1 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

   He also was held on warrants charging him with speeding and careless operation
