Small blast rocks Shreveport barbershop; 2 injured

SHREVEPORT, La. -

First responders are on the scene of a small blast in Shreveport that left two injured.

It happened at a barbershop in the 2000 block of Jewella just before 1:30 p.m.

According to Shreveport Fire Officials, a 25-year-old female was inured by flying debris.

The woman was treated at the scene and refused transport.
Officials also say that a 52-year-old male was transported with difficulty breathing.

A cause of the explosion has not yet been determined. Investigators are en route to the scene. Stay with KTBS 3 News and ktbs.com for more details as they become available.
