We always know when spring has sprung because  that's when the eyes start watering, the endless sneezing begins and that cough just won't go away. Of course we are talking about allergy season.

Dr. Peter Boggs with the Shreveport Allergy and Asthma Clinic tells us it's the oak pollen  in the air that many people have problems with.  There is also a lot sweet gum pollen,  hag berry pollen , and elm pollen in the air right now.

All this pollen also translate into a big annoyance if you like a clean car.
Folks over at Road Runner Car  Wash here in Shreveport say they have seen a 30% to 40%  increase since all the pollen started coating cars.
