The search continues for the inmate who escaped from the Springhill jail Sunday evening.Authorities say Nathan Hutchinson, 32, left through an unlocked door."He was let out to have his shower and exercise time. During that time, he found an open door and slipped through it," said Chief Will Lynd.Lynd says he's still investigating how and why the door was left unlocked.Hutchinson was being held in Louisiana for criminal property damage and theft charges. He's also wanted out of Missouri for theft of livestock, forgery and child support charges.Local, state and federal authorities have been combing north Webster and Bossier parishes since the escape. They say it's possible Hutchinson is traveling north through Arkansas on his way back to Missouri.He was last seen wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans.If you have any information concerning his whereabouts, call the Springhill Police Department at (318) 539-2511.
