A Shreveport convenience store clerk was shot and critically wounded early today during a robbery. No arrests had been made this afternoon.

The shooting happened shortly after 3 a.m. at the Stop 'n Shop Express in the 1400 block of Hollywood Avenue.

Police said a man walked into the store and demanded money from clerk Amin Gobah, who was shot before he had a chance to turn over the money. A second clerk then handed money to the robber, who was wearing a bandana over his face, police said.

Gobah, 26, was listed in critical condition this afternoon at LSU Hospital.
