NBA star Stromile Swift was in Shreveport this weekend.

Swift visited the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission where he signed autographs.

The Fair Park and LSU graduate recently formed the Swift Foundation to help improve health care for children with kidney problems and to develop programs to help kids achieve their dreams.

"I know a lot of these kids in here are kind of struggling.  They've had a tough time so I just want to try to come in and brighten up their day.  I just want to get to know some of the people in the community," said Swift.
