Student dies at Texas State Technical College in Marshall

At approximately 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, a Texas State Technical College Marshall student was found unresponsive in his bedroom on campus. 

Emergency personnel were called to the scene and performed CPR.  The student was then pronounced deceased.

 The name of the student is being withheld until all family has been notified.  The cause of death has not yet been determined; however there is no evidence of foul play.  The Texas State Technical College Police Department, in conjunction with the Marshall Police Department are conducting a full investigation.

Counseling sessions will be available to all students for the duration of the week.
