Subdivision residents are stuck in limbo

Miller's Crossing residents say they were promised a great neighborhood with lake front property, a playground for their children and security gates. They also had basic expectations like good streets and a working sewer. They say they paid top-dollar for their land, but claim the promises of better living weren't kept by the subdivision's developers brothers Randy and Rusty Miller. Residents in past years have complained of worn streets and a sewer system that would overflow into their yards. Homeowner Wendy Langevin says she and her neighbors were let down.

"All those promises broken, and all these people were left out in the cold, and look, all these people have left thinking nothing can be done," Langevin said.

The residents might be in luck. A local business man with property already in Miller's Crossing is looking to invest in the community building the lake and much more. Repeated efforts to reach the Millers were unsuccessful.
