Suspect arrested in Longview shooting

Longview police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting that happened last night.

Twenty-four year old Jay Borreson is in the Gregg County jail.

He's charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

Authorities say Borreson shot 37 year old Jimmy Johnson just before six last night in the 4000 block of Burks Road.

He was taken to Longview Regional Medical Center.

There's no word on his condition.
