Suspect arrested in Mickey Shunick missing woman case

According to station KLFY in Lafayette, police are now searching a home in the Lawtell area in connection with their investigation of the whereabouts of Mickey Shunick. 

Shunick, of Lafayette, has been missing since May 19 about 2 a.m. when she reportedly left for home on her bike.

Her bicycle was later found abandoned in water off Interstate 10.

Details are still sketchy. KTBS will keep following this story after a news conference set for tomorrow.
