Shreveport Police have arrested a suspect accused of robbing a convenience store last week.

On September 28, 2012, detectives with the Shreveport Police Department’s Tactical Robbery Unit arrested 46-year-old Robert Sikes of the 2600 block of Barbara Street in Bossier City after he surrendered to authorities at police headquarters this afternoon.

An arrest warrant, charging Sikes with simple robbery had been obtained after he was named as a suspect in the robbery of a Circle K convenience store in the 2100 block of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop back on September 21, 2012.

Following interviews with detectives, Sikes was subsequently booked into the Shreveport City Jail on the outstanding warrant.

Sike’s bond is set at $100,000.00
