The Caddo Federation of Teachers is using a busy Shreveport intersection to get its message out about how hot it gets on un-air conditioned school buses and to complain that school administrators don't want to hear about it.

The group has rented space on a billboard at Youree Drive and East 70th Street.

The sign refers to the teachers group's survey on temperatures inside buses during the summer.

CFT president Jackie Lansdale presented the findings to the Caddo School Board this week. They listened to what she had to say, although Lansdale said she had hoped for a more receptive audience.

Lansdale said the ad campaign will cost $12,000 and also includes newspaper and radio ads.
