Two students at Marshall, Texas High School are in trouble after one brought a pistol, a knife and a set of brass knuckles to school in a backpack and gave them to a friend, Marshall police said today.
Police said one of the 16-year-olds had taken his father's pistol from their, along with the brass knuckles and the knife.
He gave the backpack to the other 16-year-old while they were at school, police said.
The teen who brought the prohibited items to school was sent to Willoughby Juvenile Center. The other boy was left in the custody of school officials, who will determine any disciplinary action.
