Texarkana College hosts mock disaster drill

A mock disaster drill at Texarkana College prepares rescuers for the real thing.
The mass causalty exercise happened Wednesday morning at the Truman Arnold Center.
In the exercise scenerio, emergency crews responded to a fake bomb explosion with massive injuries.
Texarkana college officials say the exercise will build a better partnership with area first responders.
The mock disaster training exercise was a first for Texarkana College.
The exercise was sponsored by the Northeast Texas Regional Advisory Council (NETRAC) serving Trauma Service Area "F" and hosted by Texarkana College.
