The associate pastor of a Texarkana church has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Jerry Sawrie, an associated pastor at Richmond Road Baptist Church, is accused of viewing and possessing child pornography on his work computer. He has been arraigned and pleaded not guilty.

Police said they found photos of male juveniles on Sawrie's computer at a church publishing business.

Sawrie, who is scheduled to go on trial in August, has been released from jail on bond.
