Texarkana participates in Texas Warrant Round-up

Law enforcement agencies throughout state, including Texarkana police are taking part in the annual "Great Texas Warrant Round-up."

Starting Monday, February 18th, officers will actively seek and arrest those with outstanding warrants.

Texas Municipal Court Clerk Jean Ann Yeager says they have nearly 11,000 outstanding warrants in Texarkana, Texas.

She says now is the time to pay any outstanding fines.

"There are officers out there knocking on your doors, going to your place of employement wherever they need to to serve these warrants," explained Yeager.

The program runs until March 8th.
