Texas DPS officials investigate a fatal crash in Bowie County.

It happened around 6 o'clock Tuesday morning on Tri-State road.

DPS officials say Glenda McElwee of Texarkana, Texas was travelling southbound when she veered off the road and struck a tree.

McElwee was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say she was not wearing a seatbelt.
