The 4th annual KTBS 3/KPXJ CW21 Independence Day Festival is coming up tomorrow!
The event will feature a spectacular fireworks show, food from local vendors, fun for families with a children’s area. Plus there will be great entertainment featuring county music legend Collin Raye, singer songwriter Robert Ivey, local favorite, Windstorm along with new recording artist Imaj. The festival will be between the Red River downtown and Clyde Fant Parkway. There is no shuttle and there will be free parking at Region's Bank.
This year’s festival is brought to you by the City of Shreveport, the Caddo Commission, the Bossier Parish Police Jury, Eldorado Resort Casino Shreveport, Chesapeake Energy and Ivan Smith Furniture.
Water Resource Festival: This year, the event starts off with Water Resource Festival at 1:00 PM at the J. Bennett Johnston Waterway Regional Visitor Center. There will be free life jackets for the kids; Walter Jacobs Nature Park will bring a live bald eagle and alligator. There will be the history of the Red River given by Dr. Gary Joiner, see Smokey the Bear and much more.
