A former one class at a time winner is using her $1,000 to teach students why we have different seasons.

Mary Marston purchased graphing calculators, temperatures probes and globes.  She can now simulate seasons and explain to her students why we have winter and summer.

Marston says she used to teach the theory using traditional lecture notes and followed up iwth question and answer sessions.  She says the hands-on technique makes it all crystal clear.
