Shreveport Crimestoppers received a tip that helped them catch three suspects that broke into Shreveport home. Police arrested twenty-one year old Frederick Chambers, twenty-five year old Earl Coleman, and twenty-two year old Jeremy Rainey for breaking into an empty home on Clover Street in the Caddo Heights section of the city. Police used one of their K-9 officers to help in the arrest. And to avoid the dog officers say the would be thieves ran up into the attic, leaving hundreds of dollars of damage to the ceiling of the home. Home owner Donald Rusley say this isn't the first time this rental property of his has been broken into. "I don't even want to count, I don't even want to count the times,  I'll say six or seven at least," said Rusley. Police credit the arrests to a tip from a neighbor calling and say it's the perfect example of how community involvement helps fight crime and keep Shreveport streets safer.
