Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a young East Texas man who was killed this past April at the Lake O' the Pines spillway.

Marion County, Texas, authorities said Patrick Williams, 21, of Marshall, J.R. Warren, 19, of Jefferson and Alexander Johnson of Longview are charged in connection with the slaying of 18-year old Jose Delatorre of Marshall.

Delatorre was shot to death April 9 at the lake spillway. Authorities said Johnson is believed to be the shooter.

Prosecutors said they believe drugs were a factor in the slaying.
