TEXARKANA, Ark. -

A major accident on a local interstate sends several to the hospital.
It happened near the airport exit on I-30 in Texarkana, Arkansas around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
According to authorities, a truck travelling westbound hit the median and flipped three times before landing in the eastbound lane.
KTBS 3 News has learned that a female was ejected, two others were also injured.
All were transported to area hospitals.
The extent of their injuries are unknown at this hour.
According to a witness report to authorities, a tire malfunction may be behind the accident.
The investigation continues.
The accident temporarily shut down the eastbound lane.
