The treasurer of the Captain Shreve High School Athletic Booster Club in Shreveport has been arrested on charges she embezzled approximately $50,000 from the organization, law enforcement investigators said.
Danielle King, 44, of Gentilly Drive is accused of stealing from the booster club account since 2006.
Detective Alan Davidson, an investigator with the local white-collar crimes unit, said King wrote checks to herself for cash, then omitted those checks from records given to the booster club.
