A courtesy ride for a man in Bossier Parish by sheriff's deputies leads to an arrest.
Authorities say they picked up 22-year-old Ronzricous Smith early this morning while he was walking and gave him a lift to the Outpost Truck Stop on Highway 3 in Plain Dealing.
They later learned that Smith was wanted for property damage in Springhill.
Deputies went back to the truck stop and picked him up again, this time to haul him to jail.
Authorities say Smith is also a suspect in a shooting in the Springhill area.
