Shreveport Police are trying to determine what lead to two men being shot early this morning.

It happened just after 1 a.m. on Lakeland Street.

When police arrived they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

They say one was shot in the leg the other in the upper body.

Both have been taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Their injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

Police are still on the scene and gathering information.
