Shreveport police are looking for two men suspected in the Jan. 27 robbery of the Circle K convenience store in the 700 block of Pierremont Road.

The suspects are identified as Jerome Hogan, 38, and George Arkansas, 48, both of Shreveport. They are suspected of robbing the Pierremont store about 7 a.m. that day and also robbing another convenience store later that morning.

Police said the two men went to the Circle K and bought some gas, then went inside. Hogan reportedly went behind the counter and pulled a gun, police said, and stole 10 cartons of cigarettes while Arkansas got a cigar.

The two men are also believed to have been involved in an incident at the Village Exxon, 9000 Mansfield Road, on Jan. 27. Around 10:50 a.m. that day, one of two men in the store went behind the counter and pushed the clerk to the floor and then grabbed her purse. The two fled the store in a black Chevy truck.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of either of these two suspects is asked to call Detective Russell Ross at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
