Tyler Firefighters Battle Blaze

The Tyler Fire Department is on the scene of a two alarm fire near the downtown area of Tyler.

Firefighters were called to the eleven hundred block of West Bow Street just after eleven Thursday morning. Five engines, one ladder company, a district chief and an investigator are currently at the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters reported heavy fire and smoke conditions in a commercial structure. Firefighters are still working to bring the fire under control.

The Tyler Fire Marshal’s Office is on the scene and will be investigating the cause of the blaze. There is no information at this time on the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported. Additional details will be released as they become available.
