A Tyler, TX mans says he was robbed by a woman claiming to be a police officer.

It happened just after 8 p.m. on October 14th at a car wash on 5030 Highway 31 West.

The man says that an unknown white female with short brown hair, possibly in her 40’s, approximately 5’5” and 130 pounds, approached him as he was parked near the car vacuums.

She reportedly presented a badge that led him to believe that she was a police officer. She informed him that she was going to search his car or he was going to be arrested.

After searching his car, he says she stole a few unknown items from him. He says she then left in a dark colored compact vehicle. There is no other information available at this time.
