A robber is behind bars after leading Tyler police officers on a chase.

On Friday, December 28, 2012 just after 9 p.m., officers responded to a reported robbery of a person at America's Best Value Inn in Tyler, Texas.

The victim described the suspect as a white female who was later identified as Jessica Ann Walker, 25, from Tyler.

Officers immediately began searching for Walker and after a brief foot chase, Walker was arrested and taken to the Smith County Jail.

A 25 caliber pistol and an undetermined amount of cash was found on Walker at the time of her arrest.

Walker is being charged with Aggravated Robbery and is currently being held on a $75,000 bond.
