SHREVEPORT, La. -

Officers respond to a morning shooting that sends a local man the hospital with serious injuries, still searching for gunman.

On September 23, 2012, at approximately 5:21 a.m., Shreveport Police Patrol Officers responded to a home in the 700 block of West 74th Street relative to a shooting.

Officers arrived to find 25-year-old Robert Guillory of the 700 block of West 74th Street in Shreveport, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds the lower body.

Police say Guillory was probably sitting inside a car parked in a driveway in the 700 block of West 74th Street when a suspect or suspects opened fired on the vehicle.

During the hail of gunfire, at least two homes in the 700 block of West 74th Street were struck by bullets.

No persons in either home were injured.

Guillory was taken to LSU Health Shreveport with wounds that were described as serious but considered to be non life-threatening.

Investigators learned that moments before the shooting, witnesses reported seeing a green or blue colored SUV with dark or black wheels in the immediate area, but authorities aren't sure if the SUV is connected to the shooting.

Detectives are working at this hour to identify and apprehend the person or persons responsible for this shooting.
