Detectives are investigating a shooting in West Shreveport that left a man seriously injured.

It happened just before 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon inside the Willow Trace Apartment complex in the 8100 block of Pines Rd.

Police say a verbal argument between two men erupted in gunfire, and 27-year-old Ronnie Coleman was shot in the head.

He was taken to LSU Health Shreveport with life-threatening injuries.

Police are still searching for that gunman.
