LSP Capt. Doug Cain says LSP has assigned bomb technicians and dogs to assist at LSU.
They will be assisting at the direction of the LSU police department.
Capt. Cain also said the LSP Fusion Center is involved.
They have reached out to federal investigators and the other states that experienced bomb threats at universities last week.
They are looking for any commonality between the threats.
BRPD's bomb squads are also involved.
Authorities are also searching the Cox building.
