Update: Burglary suspect in custody after fleeing from authorities

BOSSIER PARISH, La. -

Authorities have captured a male suspect believed to be responsible for a burglary in Webster Parish and a short manhunt in Bossier Parish.


Authorities tell KTBS 3 News that Bossier Parish Sheriff Deputies pulled over a male suspect around 11a.m. Friday near La. Highway 2.

According to Lt. Bill Davis the suspect in the vehicle is allegedly one of the culprits accused of a recent burglary in a neighboring parish.


After deputies pulled over the suspect he fled into a wooded area.


Several agencies combed through the area for approximately an hour before taking him into custody.


Authorities are still looking for at least one other suspect believed to be involved in the burglary.
