There was no one injured in a house fire on Lillian Street today.
According to the Shreveport Fire Department, fire fighters were dispatched at 1:21 p.m.to the house fire. They arrived at 1:24 p.m. The first unit on scene observed heavy smoke and flames. The two adults and two children in the house were already outside of it. The children were ages 7 and 18 months.
The fire took about six units to get under control. Officials believe it started in the living room near a love seat and curtains. The exact cause of the blaze is under investigation.
