Update: Texarkana bank robbery suspect arrested
A robbery at a Texarkana, Texas bank leaves employees shaken.
It happened just around 1:30p.m. Friday at the Bank of the Ozarks in the 2600 block of Richmond Road.
Officers with the Texarkana, Texas Police Department arrived at the bank to find the alleged suspect waiting in the bank lobby.
Matthew B. Schlatre, 55, of Queen City, Texas, was taken into custody without incident.
Police say earlier Schlatre had passed a note to a bank teller demanding money.
No weapons were found at the scene and no one was injured.
Schlatre was previously arrested for bank robbery in Bowie County in 2007.
Schlatre was booked into jail at the Bi-State Justice Center.
