Texas Motorcyclist Involved In Accident Has Died
Tyler Police Department says Dillon Shelton passed away Saturday, December 8, from injuries he sustained in the motorcycle wreck.
Tyler Police, Fire and EMS responded to the intersection of S. Broadway and Heritage around 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6, on a motorcycle - vehicle crash.
Dillon Shelton, 20, of Tyler was driving a 2006 Suzuki headed north on South Broadway in the outside lane entering the intersection of Heritage. Pam Davis, 63, of Kilgore was attempting to make a U-turn in her 2007 Chevy Tahoe, also in the intersection of Heritage.
Shelton's motorcycle struck the front of the Tahoe causing him serious injury. Accident investigators are still trying to determine who was at fault in the accident.
Shelton was transported to East Texas Medical Center where he later died. The driver of the Tahoe and passenger were not injured.
