We now have the name of the woman who was found murdered in Shreveport yesterday morning.
Authorities have identified the victim as 68-year old Rose Gonzales Coleman of Shreveport.
A suspect is now behind bars in the carjacking, kidnapping and brutal murder of a 68-year old woman found at the old AT&T plant in the 9500 block of Mansfield Road.
Police say a jogger discovered the body of the woman in the parking lot of the plant a little before 8 a.m. this morning.
Natchitoches Police have arrested 28-year-old Stacy Nicole Juneau-Blount on charges of attempted robbery and carjacking.
Officials believe Blount kidnapped the victim from El Dorado Casino in Shreveport, robbed her, stole her car, and headed for Natchitoches, after dumping her body in the plant's parking lot.
A high-speed chase ensued, and Blount was apprehended after spike strips were placed over the road.
It's not yet clear if Blount acted alone, but investigators say she may have been high on meth during the crime spree.
Natchitoches Police have charged Blount with second degree murder.
An exact cause of death has not yet been determined.
Investigators don't believe Blount knew the victim.
