As the temperatures rise, the summer clothing is coming out of the closet.

And that means more and more people are tanning.

That's why experts want to remind you about the dangers of skin cancer.

According to the American Cancer Society, skin cancer has been on the rise for the past few decades, with more than one- million skin cancers being diagnosed each year in the United States.

If you're not worried about getting skin cancer, remember, those harmful rays can also damage your skin, accelerating the aging process.

To help protect your skin from cancer, or signs of aging, experts recommend that you use a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher.
