The man killed in a Saturday night wreck in Caddo Parish has been identified as Andrew Dotie Sr., 45, of Mooringsport.
The accident happened on Shreveport-Blanchard Highway just outside the Shreveport city limits. Deputies said a speeding car went out of control and collided with an oncoming pickup.
Dotie, who was driving the car, was pronounced dead at LSU Hospital.
The injured were identified as Andrew Dotie, Jr, 17, of Mooringsport, Winston Wilmore, 19, of Mooringsport, and a 16-year-old, all of whom were passengers in the car with Dotie. Andrew Dotie suffered moderate injuries, Wilmore's injuries were severe and the teenager was treated and released, deputies said.
The driver of the pickup, JoAnn Dickey, 35, of Shreveport, was treated and released from the hospital.
Sheriff's deputies said Dotie was traveling at a high rate of speed when his car ran off the right side of the road. Dotie tried to regain control but his car crossed the center line of the highway and crashed into the pickup.
The force of the collision cut the car in half and the passengers in the back seat were ejected. No one in the car was wearing a seat belt, deputies said.
