Victims in Bienville Parish wreck identified

State Police have released the names of two people who were killed in Bienville Parish Tuesday afternoon when a car was driven into the path of an oncoming log truck.

The accident happened just north of the Union community at the intersection of Louisiana 147 and Louisiana 507.

Killed were Nyhlia Youngblood, 23, of Shreveport, and Janell Youngblood, 40, of Mansfield.

State Police said Nyhlia Youngblood failed to stop at a stop sign and the Ford Fusion was broadsided by a Mack truck.

Truck driver Cornelious George, 41, of Ruston, was not injured.
