WEBSTER PARISH, La. -

A pair of Webster Parish voting precincts are being temporarily relocated, due to the recent safety precautions and evacuations associated with moving and properly storing more than 6 million pounds of black powder at Explo Inc. on the grounds of Camp Minden.
According to the Webster Parish Police Jury, precincts #41 and #42, which currently vote at Doyline High School, will cast their ballots for the upcoming December 8 election at Westlake Baptist Church, located at 2587 Hwy 163 in Doyline .
The police jury says the emergency and temporary change is to assure the safety of voters in the two affected precincts.
