Woman Fighting For Her Life Following Shreveport Shooting

Shreveport, LA (KTBS) -

One woman is fighting for her life after a shooting in Shreveport.
Shreveport police were called to the intersection of Darien Street and Exposition Avenue following reports of a shooting that happened just before 9 o'clock Wednesday night.

Upon arrival, officers discovered 45 year-old Linda Netter suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Netter was transported to LSUHSC by the Shreveport Fire Department. Netter is expected to survive.

At this time, detectives have not been able to interview the victim and are working to determine how she got shot. Investigators received reports of a dark colored vehicle, possibly a Dodge, leaving the area soon after the shooting occurred.
