A woman was injured early this morning in an early morning accident.

According to the Shreveport Police Department a woman was driving on Kings Highway at Creswell Avenue at a high rate of speed.

That's when they say she lost control of her vehicle and hit a pole.

She was taken to LSU Health with minor injuries.

There's no word on her injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
